Anglicans, in the second decade of the nineteenth century, advocated for the Jewish people to once again dwell in Israel, the land of their ancestors. Our reasons were Biblical. The Alliance for Israel Advocacy shares this Biblical commitment. I endorse the work with which they have been entrusted. Ensuring the well-being of the Jewish people is pleasing to the Lord and fighting anti-Semitism must be intentional as history has shown. Making sure that public discourse reflects fact not prejudice are big challenges in today’s media climate and must have accountability. Of primary importance, however, is being faithful to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who created the Jewish people to be His witnesses to a world desperately in need of Him. We are privileged to share that calling.
